● 2026 World Championship · after round 16
Who can still win the 2026 MotoGP title?
9 riders can still win it. Marquez leads Martin by 4 points, with 6 rounds and 210 points still to race for.
The contenders
Everyone who could still finish on top if they won everything left. "Best possible" is their points plus all 210 still available.

The other 23 riders can no longer catch Marquez: even winning every Sprint and Grand Prix left wouldn't be enough. If two riders finish level on points, the title is decided on countback.
When could it be decided?
The earliest the title could be settled is the Qatar Grand Prix (round 20). That needs Marquez to score the maximum at every round until then while Martin scores nothing, so in practice it usually goes further.

What if…
Pick where the top three finish at the Indonesian Grand Prix and see the table change. The Sprint has already been run, so only the Grand Prix is left.
How the points work
Every round has two races, and both count. A rider can score up to 37 points a weekend: 25 for winning the Grand Prix and 12 for winning the Sprint. The top 15 score in the Grand Prix, the top 9 in the Sprint.
